Summary:"The first half of the season is gone and there's nothing we can do about it, but we should be embarrassed about it," said the defenseman Rich Pilon. "Yes we're a young team, but no it's not alright being where we are." Not Quite Right "We have continued to lower the age of the team," [Bill Torrey] said, "and is there a point of no return when you choose to do that? Yes. All the teams we have to contend with in our division have more experience. Hopefully we're starting to close that gap, but whether we're closing the talent gap, that's a debatable point." More Experienced? "I'm not prospect hunting," Torrey said. "We need someone we can use right now to get us that extra goal or two that can make the difference. We're not in last place like we were a month ago, where we were out of sight. In the next month, we can either put ourselves right back in it or right out of it. Pressure? I'm feeling it."
