Mann Cinema on Mainstreet in Hopkins offers $2 movie tickets (and on Tuesdays, it's only a buck!) to eight shows. Most of the films have been out of traditional theaters for a while, so it's a great way to catch up on Hollywood hits that you missed. My boyfriend and I recently found Williams Pub and Peanut Bar, a popular college hangout in Uptown Minneapolis. He likes it because Wednesdays are $3 pint nights for all U.S. draft beers, and I like it because of the all-you-can-eat peanuts. Bring a few quarters and you can challenge your friends to some darts and billiards.
