Summary:Prosecutors charged a 30-year-old Cottage Grove man with two counts of intentional second-degree murder Tuesday in the slayings of a cabdriver and a St. Anthony woman on Friday. Krosch, the father of two and a Sears appliance repairman, was charged with shooting Andrea Applebee, 25, five to seven times in the head inside a Sears van and then dumping her body in the 2300 block of 10th Av. S. shortly before 3:30 a.m. About three hours later, Krosch shot Daniel B. Kabtyimer, 23, of St. Paul, in the 3200 block of 20th Av. S. apparently to steal the Blue & White taxi Kabtyimer was driving, authorities said. He was shot eight times in his upper torso.
