Summary: | [Sherwin Fischer], the owner of the Chicago Hustle, insists that his franchise is very much alive. ''The Hustle is putting out a team to play this year, no matter what,'' he said. ''We'll play exhibitions. We'll join another league. We'll barnstorm. Anything to keep the Hustle name alive. Right now there is just Nebraska, Chicago and New Orleans. I don't know if we can afford to play among ourselves.'' ''We're trying to put together a league schedule beginning in February, to take advantatge of the lull after the Super Bowl,'' said [Larry Kozlicki]. ''I would think the league can continue with a minimum of six teams. I'm optimistic about the response we're going to get from the owners. But if we get only four teams, we'll have to work out something else.'' |
