Summary:So let me see if I have a grasp of the situation. A young, white, disgruntled, Alpha Gamma Delta sorority sister can say whatever she wants and Richard Mullendore, the University of Georgia's vice president for student affairs, takes it as truth and begins a campaign to stamp out racism in the Greek sector ("After accusations, UGA sorority faces racial sensitivity training," Metro, Sept. 19). I have a question for Mullendore. Why was the African-American woman not accepted into the other white sororities she rushed? Will he label them as racist and demand sensitivity training for them, or is there a special clause clearly stating that a disgruntled white member has to make frivolous complaints before any action is taken? As usual, [Al Gore]'s answer is to buy more votes by giving away tax breaks and government (my) money to help people pay their heating bills this winter. If the economy is so wonderful, as Gore and [Bill Clinton] remind us daily, then these people should have plenty of money to pay their own bills.
