Summary:"I have diligently represented the citizens of Maryland, especially the 27th District, in the House of Delegates since 1990. During that time, I obtained funding for local projects, including the Alice Ferguson Foundation; Top Banana Home Meals Delivery; Bethel House; Bethel Recreation Center; the Equestrian Center; Southern Maryland Youth Camp; and Colonial Farm. I am chairman of the appropriations subcommittee on education and, as such, will continue to fight for full funding for Prince George's schools. The teachers association, Sierra Club, the American Legion, AFSCME and many other county and state unions and civic associations have acknowledged my efforts." Elected offices/civic activities: Prince George's County Fatherhood Conference Planning Committee, 2001-02; Summit Creek Community Association board of directors, 1998-present; 2002 graduate, Leadership Prince George's. "If you are tired of the status quo in District 27A and you want a legislator who will work tirelessly on your behalf, elect Kenneth S. Brown. If you want to see improvement in our schools and neighborhoods, elect Kenneth S. Brown. The time has come for new ideas and new vision for District 27A and the entire state of Maryland. If elected, I will be a visible and accessible legislator. Voters can be assured that if Kenneth S. Brown is their House representative, they will have a strong and clear voice in Annapolis."
