Summary:The indictment, which names Mr. Donovan's former employer, Schiavone Construction Co. and several of its top officials, includes one count of grand larceny and 136 counts of giving false statements and documents, according to lawyers involved in the case. However, it was unclear last night which counts specifically involve Mr. Donovan, who was executive vice president of Schiavone before coming to Washington in 1981. Schiavone Construction is a large, Secaucus, N.J., construction company that is involved in major public works projects in New York City and the surrounding region. Also named in the indictment were Schiavone's chairman, Ronald Schiavone; Joseph DiCarolis, president; Jerry Liguori, Richard Callaghan and Albert Magrini, all Schiavone vice presidents, and Robert Genuario, a company accountant, according to Theodore Geiser, an attorney for Schiavone. Mr. Geiser said he was notified of the indictment yesterday afternoon by officials in the office of Mario Merola, the district attorney in New York's Bronx borough.
