Summary: | Thirteen years ago God gave him the treasures of Germantown's Farmington Presbyterian Church. Through his faith and perseverance, leadership and forbearance, care, love and prayers for the Farmington family, Bob has multiplied God's treasures here in countless ways. Week after week of planning, not only sermons, but Sunday school lessons, special services, prayers at functions, prayers during the service of worship, selection of music - I'm getting tired just writing the list! I don't think I truly knew the meaning of the word "vocation" until I worked with Bob Duke. It's always so comforting to look around the congregation and see so many faces that were there in Farmington's first few years. It is also energizing to think of all the folks Bob has welcomed to Farmington and how much they have contributed to the Farmington family. |
