Bringing in 8 percent of the school's donations, Lindsey Luzar's third-grade class received a special visit from Rockey the Rockin' Redbird. After a brief photo session with student Madison Arthur, who donated 949 cans, Rockey dispensed plastic candy-filled eggs, wiffle balls and bats, and coupons for Redbirds merchandise. He also autographed T-shirts, ball caps, baseball cards and even a football.
