Summary:Andersen, president of the [Kirsten Andersen] Weight Loss Centers of Allentown and Bethlehem, said yesterday her Cedar Crest Boulevard office closed its doors for good last Saturday. Also that year, Andersen was chosen as one of 15 small business owners statewide to sit on the Pennsylvania Small Business Advisory Council. A native of Denmark who emigrated to the United States in 1957, Andersen produced and hosted a live radio show on health and weight loss. Andersen opened the Thin Life Centers of Allentown and Bethlehem in the early 1980s. In 1987, she renamed the business the Kirsten Andersen Weight Loss Centers.
