Summary:[Todd Steigerwalt] was lost on the last play of the first half with a broken collar bone, while [Tom Keer], the Indians shoe-in for all-leaque quarterback, suffered a hip pointer and was never very effective in the second half. Keer wasn't the only quarterback deserving accolades. His Notre Dame counterpart, Tom Donegan, nearly pulled off what would have been a remarkable upset on Parents Day for the Crusaders. John Gallop intercepted Keer for the third time in the second half and took it to the Indians 28. On first down, Donegan found Mike Schweitzer in the end zone with 8:29 to go. A pass for two points failed.
