Apparently Pennsylvania Secretary of Education Eugene Hickok has very little contact or experience with teachers, given his comment in the April 15 paper that "teaching has become in many ways a solitary profession" ("Clinton Praises AFT Proposal for Tougher Teaching Standards")....
