Summary: | For 17 years the Equal Justice Under Law Campaign has reached out to lawyers and asked for their financial contribution to help NLSA help others. Over those years, the EJC has raised more than $2.6 million for the goal of equal justice. However much one thinks this is, it is not nearly enough. Studies of the Pennsylvania Bar Association indicate that 4 out of 5 eligible clients go without representation because NLSA and other legal services programs across Pennsylvania simply do not have the resources necessary to meet the need. While NLSA represented 750,000 clients, another 3,750,000 eligible clients may have gone without representation. Imagine if you were one of those who could not be helped. |
