Summary:The conservative ascendancy born of November's general election has cast a shadow of uncertainty on many of the legal services now available to indigent Marylanders. Key Republican Congressmen have indicated that funding for the federal Legal Services Corp., which finances community-based legal services nationwide, will come under close scrutiny in congress's upcoming session.
