Summary: | as tropical storm Hanna raced towards Western Massachusetts. Once again "A Dark Cloud Hung Over Greenfield." Instead of disaster, yes we got plenty of rain, but Hanna flew over so fast that by Sunday morning the skies were as blue as I have ever seen, and the day was as good as it gets. The 60th annual fair was a huge success. Hen's Tooth, Scarecrow, 33 Export, Super Spock, Leifman, Sol, Taj Mahal, Westmalle, EKU pils, Orion, Stella Artois, Bass, Becks, Harbin, Dab, Leffe, Sam Smith (Sam Smith? is this beer hiding something? have you herd what goes on behind floor boards at the Oast House?) Ayinger, Guiness, Meantime, Hitachino, Dos Equis. 100 + brands of beer! You may not learn what the "International Bitterness Units scale" is, but you will have a rare chance to taste many fine beers. |
