Instead, the focus should be on active protection and support of breastfeeding by, for example, establishing safe "corners" for mothers and infants, one-to-one counselling and mother-to-mother support," stated World Health Organization Director-General Dr. Margaret Chan in a recent press release. "Hopefully it is fun and informative," she said. "It's not exclusive to women who are breastfeeding. It's for all women and their partners."
