Summary: | Greens early comeback was thanks to their gifted fore-check specialist, George (Bobblehead) Paul who scored a goal and assisted on another while wearing a Lindrossized cranium cap. (Jungle) Jim Kurta miraculously broke out of his slump with two goals and an assist thanks to his linemates, Allan (Mats) Johnsrude and Steve (Had a good) Day who pitched in on the last two markers. An unlikely trigger man was the Red saviour as goalie-turned- sniper Mike (Mario) Legere rifled in his first ever FHL hat trick. Bob (Long shot) Taylor and Lee (Nitro) Naeth chipped in a goal and two assists but it was the courageous penalty-killing unit that earned the biggest cheers. |
