Summary:The highly educated spiritual leader's brand of mysticism is a scientifically explained "spiritual art of managing the mind." It's a combination of yoga, meditation, and divine abandon that he teaches through a series of discourses and practical training sessions. "What is this mind? It is not the brain, it is a subtle mechanism that science is yet to reach. Our scriptures tell us the mind is continuously generating thoughts," the Swami, who is graduate from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology and the Indian Institute of Management, said. "It is an instrument that can make you experience heaven in hell and hell in heaven. We do not realize it but it is our thoughts that fashion our personalities, they fashion our destiny and control our physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual health." Swami Mukundananda's discourse on the spiritual art of managing your mind was held at the Sanatan Dharma Kendra and Sunnyvale Hindu Temple in Sunnyvale, as well as at the Hindu Temple of Ventura County.
