Summary: | Where were you the night near the Rogers summit when there was a body on the highway, stiff as a board in the same position as on his motorcycle, arms extended for the handlebars and legs bent in the sitting position. They had been there over two hours and had sent messages to the Parks people and to the RCMP in Revelstoke. There, after every truck west was told to phone in Revelstoke and every truck east was told how to find the dispatch at Rogers summit, it was still another 2 1/2 or more hours before anyone arrived. Then we had to wait for the coroner. |
