Aboriginal title exists -- it is not some sort of thing that liberals or bleeding hearts want to give, to native people, it is enshrined in our Constitution. This is a cold, hard, legal fact. Sorry, fellows. Sorry, Mr. Campbell. Personally, I look forward to a day when, as the letter writers state, all of us can be "Canadian citizens on an equal rather than a racial footing". Unfortunately, neither the referendum nor the antagonistic attitudes expressed by Krauss and Watson will do anything to advance this dream.
