Summary: | I have taken great pride in being a citizen of Guelph most of my life. However, over the past several years, I have become more concerned about the increasing apparent lack of consideration given to the environment in the decision-making processes entered into by our public officials. A community that was once looked at as being an ecologically minded forerunner in its appreciation of and respect for the land upon which it was founded has gradually lost that focus as it has destroyed more and more of that precious land as a result of its development plans. |
