Summary:This headline could not be any further from the truth. We do not have a "battle," we have a responsibility to our members. How can the Guelph Minor Hockey Association register players/members in one month and then, if changes to the operating procedures were enacted that increase the operating budget, return to those same players/ members and tell them it will cost more money? It is because of the "unknown costs" that would be associated with the proposed amendments that the Board of Directors decided to delay registration until after May 16.
