Summary: | The race is on and the best that we can hope for is that the oil reserves run out before our oxygen and water supplies do. I think it is important to remember as we watch this current war unfold that we are all dying a little every day. Blame lays not on the shoulders of the Iraqi's, Americans and British but on all of us who allow this to continue. I am beginning to think that the societies inhabiting this planet have a death wish against it. I guess that as long as the supplies of Middle Eastern oil reserves hold up then the North American economy can continue to build environment-destroying methods of transportation. As we burn up those oil reserves we slowly destroy the air quality of the earth and the water supply that feeds us. |
