Summary: | One of the directors, Carol Defeo, reminded the members that the Best Bloom Plant Sale will be on Saturday, May 19 at the Fergus and District Community Centre on Belside Avenue. Our Society will donate 75 per cent of the proceeds from this sale to the start-up costs of the Fergus/Elora Community Pantry Garden. We need the donation of many plants from gardens in and around Fergus. A lot of new home owners coming to the sale will prize common plants like Forget-Me- Not, Lily of the Valley and many others, so try and separate even the simpler plants as well as any others that have outgrown their spaces. |
