Summary:The Gorge Trail at Carnarvon Gorge, in Carnarvon National Park in Queensland's central highlands, is 18.6km return but can be longer or shorter if you take any of the side gorge trails, such as Moss Garden, Amphitheatre or Ward's Canyon. Rugged and mountainous Eungella, near Mackay, is one of Queensland's most beautiful rainforest parks. This is the longest walk in the park but families can do the 1km rainforest circuit at Broken River, with a short detour to the platypus viewing platform.
