Dr Binns and a rescue team arrived about an hour later to find the driver dead and the survivor trapped in the sleeping compartment. He was conscious but seriously injured. Dr Binns and Georgetown Hospital Matron Pam Swain provided first aid and comfort to the man and directed rescue workers.
