Summary: | Cornwall Public Library is opening a homework centre this week. The library is pleased to be providing a venue for the excellent work done by Tri-County Literacy. After their existing homework centres were filled to capacity, the library was an obvious choice for expansion. The library is already a great place to find assistance and materials for book reports, science projects, term papers etc. with access to computers and the Internet. All 19 branches provide story times for children 3-12 years old throughout the year. We also provide special story times and crafts to celebrate events such as Halloween, Easter, Christmas and many more. We have board books, early chapter books, picture books and paperbacks for children of all ages. I could go on and on but needless to say Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry County Library has reason to celebrate. If you need help in selecting material for your child, ask the branch staff or call me at 936-8777 ext. 214. |
