Summary: | [Solano] was brought back to St James' Park by Graeme Souness at the start of last season for his second spell with the Magpies, where he cemented his reputation as a fans' favourite. Bobby Levee was critically injured with a fractured skull after the incident near the statue of Cardinal Basil Hulme, in the grounds of St Mary's Cathedral, in Neville Street, Newcastle, shortly after midnight. As Mr Levee, of Gateshead, recovered in intensive care at Newcastle General Hospital, Solano, a close friend of the victim's nephew Chris, appealed for information. |
