Summary:Many thanks go out to Barry Martin and his staff at B.H. Martin Consultants Ltd. for engineering and surveying the concrete pad; to Custom Concrete; to Guiho Trucking; to Delmonte Gravel and Construction; to Rob Roy Contracting for helping us out on such short notice; to Fern's Cement Floor Finishing for working in such cool weather until late in the night; to Northern Allied Supply; and to Sunrise Rentals. First, we would like to thank the "back-bone" (and principal) of the school, Dean Lessard, for the support he has always upheld for the Playground Committee and, in particular, the permanent outdoor rink. Thank you to Andre Giroux, Shawn Vincze, Raimo Venilainen, Bob Moore, and George Orgovan (who don't even have children at the school) for giving unselfishly their time. We want to thank everyone who supports the Queen Elizabeth Playground because it is not only the students attending Queen [Elizabeth] who benefit from this ongoing endeavor.
