Summary: | Providing care for Mr. G is always entertaining but on this recent visit we had a particularly engaging conversation. Mr. G was upset that his longtime hunting partner decided to quit hiking and hunting. Not because of the burden of gun control legislation and bureaucracy (that Mr. G has passionate opinions about), but because his partner turned 65 and decided he was too old. At 75 Mr. G has trouble going hiking, and hunting only because he has no one to go with. Almost all of his friends and family in his age group are either, in Mr. G's words, "unable, unwilling or pushing-up daisies". |
