Summary: | On Tuesday, the five-member a cappella chorale will perform at a reception for invited guests, said soprano Ellen Fisher Petko. The group also will sing Wednesday at an ambassadors' reception at Blair House, the president's official guest house. The group's repertoire includes traditional carols and music from the 17th and 18th centuries, said Petko. The invitation came after alto Norma Champion learned that music groups could apply and sent in an audition tape. The remaining chorale members are soprano Judy Boone, tenor Don Wilhoit and bass Ryan Fletcher. |
