Summary: | Brad Schell earned his league's Most Valuable Player award playing for the Gwinnett Gladiators this season, but he's not due for any individual honors in his current situation. He understands the reality of playing a supporting role since being called up from the ECHL to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League. Georgia coach Mark Richt had this to say about his recent visit with David Pollack (Shiloh), a special assistant coach at last weekend's G-Day game: "I get a chance to talk to David pretty often. We probably talk at least once a month and sometimes more than that. I had a chance to spend a good time with him when he was in town. We went to breakfast together and the lettermen's golf tournament last Friday. His spirits are great. Norcross' Antonio Logan will sign a scholarship with Division I Kennesaw State, said assistant coach Devin West. Logan runs the 400 and 200 meters and is a key cog on the Blue Devils' 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams. |
