Former DOT commissioner Wayne Shackelford masterfully pulled together a "road map" that looked beyond expenditures on roads and related infrastructure. Meanwhile, MARTA is getting it right in understanding the need for developing a plan for land use and transportation together ("4 sites on MARTA's short list for northernmost rail station," AJC Ahead of the Curve, Oct. 23). |
