Summary: | The future of Iraq must be decided by the people of Iraq. If they refuse to choose wisely, let the games begin. President [Bush] invaded Iraq on a pretext. His real motive was a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein. Bush always disagreed with his father's decision to stop the first Gulf War short of invading Iraq and toppling Saddam. Then, when Saddam tried to have his father killed, the then-governor of Texas resolved to get even. This is the real reason why he ran for president: to finish the job that his father started in Iraq. CAPTION: KHALID MOHAMMED / Associated Press U.S. soldiers inspect the scene of a car bombing Sunday in Baghdad. President Bush willl soon be receiving recommendations from the Iraq Study Group on the U.S. role in Iraq. |
