Summary: | > The jury is in: Some of the most familiar faces along the Croisette this year were those of the Cannes jury members: Bellucci, [Samuel L. Jackson] and fellow actors Tim Roth and Helena Bonham Carter. Jury president and noted Hong Kong filmmaker Wong Kar-Wai summarized the stress that accompanied the job. "I think it's easier to make films than to do this," he said. Producer and Atlanta native Bonnie Arnold traveled to the Croisette with her animated DreamWorks animal caper "Over the Hedge" and got a healthy dose of Cannes glamour. "I had no idea of just how big of an event it was," she said via e-mail. "Little did I ever think as a kid growing up in Atlanta watching Hayley Mills movies that I would end up on the red carpet with Bruce Willis, Nick Nolte and William Shatner." (They lend their voices to a raccoon, bear and possum in the movie.)
