Summary:Apparently Herschend Family Entertainment assumes that new "attractions" will increase attendance at Stone Mountain Park. It neglects to consider the people who will stop coming to the park because of such ruinous changes ("Carving out ideas at Stone Mountain," Metro, May 2). Despite being scarred by various existing cheeseball attractions, the park today still manages to provide invaluable pockets of beauty and tranquility amid Atlanta's urban sprawl. Contrary to the April 29 Faith and Values article "Christian groups aim to debunk 'Da Vinci' movie," the best thing that has happened to the Christian church in modern times is the publication of the book "The Da Vinci Code." Finally, people are beginning to read and think and show some interest in the person of Jesus and the beginnings of the Christian church. The article "Anti-conversion moves stir India" (Faith and Values, April 29) misses the point. This movement is generated by millions of Dalits --- "Untouchables" --- who refuse to continue as untouchable.
