Summary: | The AJC asked Alpharetta residents who are part of our Voice of Atlanta/Voice of Northside panel to weigh in on recent actions involving the Alpharetta City Council and Councilman R.J. Kurey (left). Here are some responses we received, as well as some letters to the editor on the same subject: The controversy over the fire station not being rebuilt on Mid- Broadwell for more than a year is why the Alpharetta mayor and council have tried to censure R.J. Kurey. A few years ago, we began receiving unsolicited e-mails from R.J. Kurey. It only took a half-dozen of those e-mails to see that something was seriously wrong. The Alpharetta City Council has too many serious problems that need to be addressed. It clearly doesn't need the distraction of someone like [Kurey], especially if his behavior is threatening and abusive. |
