Summary:When I told [Andy Willis] about my mother's wreck and broken leg, without hesitating he said that he would go to her house with several frames and fit her for the new glasses. The next day was Andy's day off, and after dropping off his two small children at pre-school, he drove the 50 miles to Rockmart and met my sister, who escorted him to my parents' home between Rockmart and Cedartown in Polk County. Perhaps President [Bush] is merely a victim of bad luck, but the fact is, nothing good has happened under his tenure. We have seen unemployment skyrocket, 401(k) savings plans decimated, death and destruction at home and abroad and a return to deficits, unimaginable after the wonderful surplus handed him by President Clinton. My problem with Bush is he is not pragmatic; he is an ideologue. The environment and the economy can now agree on one major point: President Bush is wrecking both in a major decimation of global values. While using his awful "never-ending war" as a cover, Bush has wrecked our nation. What kind of person seeks an eternal war on purpose anyway?
