Summary:Workers let them into the third-floor, one-bedroom condo of a 34- year-old woman. She was dead inside her bedroom, having been shot in the chest, said Sgt. Keith Meadows, a homicide squad supervisor. Guards in the building require visitors to sign a guest book, and detectives looked over the list for possible witnesses or a suspect. Investigators also are trying to find out who wrote the letter, Meadows said. The high-rise is in an area of Buckhead where a large number of single people live. Guards placed fliers on residents' doors Thursday afternoon informing them of the homicide.
