Summary: | ATV riders are driving their vehicles on undeveloped city land, kicking up dirt and disturbing residents of the Tierra Contenta subdivision, said City Councilor Carmichael Dominguez, who represents City Council District 3, which includes Tierra Contenta. "It's really disrupting people's quality of life because (ATVs) are noisy, and they are riding up to people's backyards and creating all sorts of dirt and dust," Dominguez said. ATV riders are anticipating the construction of more dedicated ATV trails in New Mexico funded by an increase in registration fees that took effect in 2006, said Sid Mace, owner of Santa Fe Motor Sports. |
