Summary:Eyewitnesses watched in horror as the three-tonne lorry, carrying a small steam roller on a trailer and several gas cylinders, mounted pavements and hit a parked car as it gathered speed down the city's Craigentinny Avenue before slamming into Mrs [Isabella Dunlop]'s home at 12.10pm yesterday. A friend of Mrs Dunlop, Lyndsey Fraser, 44, had just passed the house before the collision happened. She said: "I waved at Isabella as I passed her house. I continued to walk and I noticed the lorry coming down the street. I thought: 'Where's he going'? Another neighbour further up the hill had his car severely damaged when it was struck by the runaway lorry . Gary Ramsay, 38, had been working on a computer in his house when the lorry collided with his GBP 14,000 Renault Scenic, tearing off its front wing in the process.
