Summary:French-born Lydie Guyot, who now plans to travel back to Scotland to see Mr [Andrew] Stephen's devastated family, said she had watched in agony as the flight went tragically wrong. She also described how Mr Stephen's father Donald, Church of Scotland minister for Marchmont St Giles in Edinburgh, had been particularly "shocked and devastated" by the tragedy after already losing his wife last July. Miss Guyot also revealed that Mr Stephen had been using a different type of paraglider and had spoke of his fears before the flight both with her and his instructor, Stewart Carstens.
