Summary:The article about the Shtieblach ("The minyan factory," January 19) did not mention the official name of the synagogue. It is "The Central Synagogue of the Ashkenazi Community of Refugees from the Old City of Jerusalem." There is at least one Torah scroll and numerous scrolls of the prophets that were brought when the Old City fell in 1948. One of the regular worshipers at the Shtieblach, Yitzhak Mizrachi, was a child prisoner of war taken by the Arab Legion at that time.
