The bomb, planted in a municipal garbage can, exploded yesterday at 8:42 a.m., on the corner of Rehov Allenby and Sderot Rothschild in Tel Aviv. Shortly after the blast, Tel Aviv police chief Cmdr. Shlomo Aharonishki arrived at the scene, as did Tel Aviv Mayor Ronni Milo and General Security Service head Ami Ayalon. Internal Security Minister Avigdor Kahalani arrived at the site to oversee the investigation and receive details. |
