Summary: | As the monsoon season comes to an end and the temperature drops to a comfortable 21 to 30 degrees Celsius, now through until March is the best time to visit India's Golden Triangle. Comprising Delhi in the north, Agra in the southeast and Jaipur in the southwest, the triangle holds some of the country's most memorable sites, including Agra's Taj Mahal and the striking pink wash on the ancient buildings of Jaipur. While Agra and Jaipur are about five hours by rail or road from Delhi, or about 35 minutes by plane, travel agencies have released seasonal package deals to roll the trek into one easy trip. Packages available now-combining return airfares, accommodation in four- or five-star hotels, meals and guided tours of the Golden Triangle's famous sights-include: -- From Singapore: Tradewinds (Web: www.tradewindstours. com) will take you direct to Jaipur on SilkAir charter flights during November and December.
