Summary: | "They arrived at the home just about the same time that EMS arrived to go into the home and take the child out on a stretcher," [Nicholas Scoppetta] said. "This is a particularly tragic case." [Daniel Ianno] was in stable but critical condition yesterday at Jacobi Medical Center after surgery for internal injuries, a hospital spokeswoman said. His mom's boyfriend, Nathaniel Frazier, 31, of Brooklyn, has been charged with second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The mother, Helen Flores, 33, was not home when the beating occurred, police said. She has not been charged and was released after she was questioned Wednesday night. |
