Summary:American and international agents have begun a global search for an alleged terrorist and his associates whom the Federal Bureau of Investigation accused of plotting an attack against the U.S. or U.S. interests in Yemen. Beyond age and nationality, the FBI made little data on Mr. Rabeei available. He isn't believed to have been involved in the attack on the USS Cole in the Yemeni port of Aden in 2000. "This is someone who is believed to be a member of al Qaeda, but not much is known about the individual," a government official said, adding that Mr. Rabeei is "not a key al Qaeda figure."
