Summary: | The protest kicked off about noon on Liverpool St. in Jamaica, where Bell, 23, was killed in a hail of 50 police bullets after his Nov. 25 bachelor party. It attracted about 350 people at its peak, which occurred about an hour after Bell was buried on Long Island, and included at least two angry staredowns with cops. No one was arrested. The rally and impromptu march, under the watchful eyes of as many as 100 cops, wove through local streets. About 1 p.m., the crowd stopped in front of the 103rd Precinct stationhouse at 91st Ave. and 168th St., and angry protesters banged on NYPD squad cars.
