Summary:[Tony Weeks] will probably catch flak because he called a timeout after each time that [CORRALES] was knocked down so that his mouthpiece could be cleaned by his corner and placed back in his mouth. The rest probably did more to energize Corrales, whose left eye was almost completely swollen shut, than throwing cold water on his face. Corrales' left eye began to swell badly in the seventh round as an angry bluish mouse formed underneath, courtesy of [Castillo]'s punishing shots. But Corrales rallied when things looked bleak. In the 10th round, Castillo dropped Corrales twice, the first time with a left hook right on the button. After the second knockdown, Corrales rocked Castillo with a barrage of punches. He landed a left-right combination that set Castillo up on the ropes, and Castillo's eyes went blank. He was a sitting duck. Weeks saw that Castillo was dead on his feet against the ropes and jumped in before Corrales could inflict more damage, perhaps permanent damage. It was a good stoppage.
