Summary: | Dear Martha Carr: A friend of my father's needs a "gofer," as he called it, and offered me the job. I can work Saturdays now and four days a week in the summer. Work permits for St. Louis city students can be obtained from the Board of Education, Division of Pupil Personnel Services (772-4322), regardless of whether the applicant attends a public, private or parochial school. That is the same office in which testing and information about the GED (General Education Development) is available. Young St. Louis County students can inquire about work permits in the main office of the school district in which they live, also regardless of whether they attend public, private or parochial schools. |
